He later earned his Masters from Tuskegee University in Alabama, USA. With a passion for animal welfare, Dr. Reddy has opened multiple veterinary clinics and pet stores in the United States. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association.

The foundation was set up in the loving memory of Hermione and Duncan, the two cats who received medical and total loving care from Dr. Sree Reddy at Seven Oaks Pet Hospital, USA. At the Hermione Duncan Reddy Foundation, we stand by one motto: "Saving animals' lives, one donation at a time." Our goal is to give families and pets the second chance they deserve with the help of our highly skilled & compassionate partners. HDRF has embarked on several new initiatives in Hyderabad, Telangana, reinforcing its commitment to pet welfare, adoption, and veterinary services. By supporting NGOS and volunteers, the foundation has successfully conducted free exams, multiple vaccination drives across the city. These efforts are a testament to HDRF's dedication to improving the health and well-being of pets & community animals, ensuring a safer and more compassionate environment for all the animals.
